Vision
In response to Jesus' command to go and make disciples of all nations, the mission of ISM is to present the good news of the gospel throughout the world, for the glory of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, to people who play, coach, watch and enjoy sports.
Our goals are:
- To partner with those called and qualified for sports related ministry.
- To assist them in clarifying their vision for ministry.
- To provide support by:
- Working alongside them as they acquire their necessary financial support.
- Participating in committed regular prayer for them, their families, and their ministries.
- Extending personal support to them and their families.
- Providing a means of accountability for fiscal and spiritual aspects of their ministries.
- Responding to requests, when possible, to help in the fulfillment of their work.
- To encourage the ongoing mentoring and accountability of those who accept Christ.
- To equip churches and organizations to do Sport’s Ministry.
- Develop local leadership to expand ministry.
