In 2007, MDI Portugal sent the Pratas family to Mozambique where they have been led to sports ministry. Jorges is involved in and responsible for:

• Bible Studies for soccer teams

• Chaplain of professional soccer team

• Strategic planning with churches for sports ministries

• Training to enable sports ministry for street children

• Ministry to hospitalized children and orphans

• Distributing Sports New Testaments

• Kids Games, Teen Games and Family Games

• Trainer of Trainers for the International Sports Coalition (ISC)
