I see my life as a project of God.

I remember 1992 very well. I was going through a phase of my adolescence that wasn't very easy. I was in high school and like anyone else my age, I was lucky to have friends.

During this time, I got caught up in many things that teenagers get caught up in. Besides my love of soccer, my main focus at that time was on clothing, dating, going out at night, drinking and smoking.

Due to my parents involvement in my life during this time, I was able to escape from a generation of materialism and lack of goals. They showed me that the Word of God was extremely important in my life and it could change me. Shortly after, I began to show more of an interest in music and sports.
Even during the difficult times during this period, mainly because of the social situation in my neighborhood, I could see the ever so special way that God took me away from that life. The person of Jesus began to have an integral part of my life and my personal relationship with Him has helped me in all areas of my life. My integration into a Bible believing Church is also very important because it has been very fulfilling to serve God through music and a public testimony of the One who transformed me, who loves me and who takes care of me.

Since the age of 17, it has been through sports that I have become successful as a high profile athlete. I was honored with the title of National Champion of the Iberian Peninsula as well as over a dozen national Titles. I also received Titles for participating in the European and World Cups as well as the Olympic Games. I know that God has taken care of me even before I ever knew Him. Today, I can enjoy His unconditional love that He has placed in my heart. Living a new life in Christ has been the best thing that ever happened to me. Presently, I see my life as a project of God. Everything I was, everything that I have and everything that I am is a work in progress for Him.

The best testimony that I can give to people is the change that God made in my own life. My desire is that all young people may experience the love of God in a fresh and contagious way as I did.
